About Us
Our overriding principle is to provide excellent care for your child. We do this in a friendly and loving atmosphere and with a variety of activities, while at the same time ensuring their absolute safety and happiness.
Why Choose Us?
We have a vast range of activities appropriate for children between 4 and 12 years of age. This includes arts and crafts, cooking, physical play e.g. football and we also have a number of special events including visits from local community figures. All activities are chosen by the children in line with their interests.
We also operate a 'free flow' policy, which means that all children have unlimited access to our outside area come rain or shine and our fully qualified staff will be there to watch over them at all times.
In addition, we also provide a choice of wholesome breakfasts and nutritionally balanced dinners. Tasty treats such as pitta bread with salad and cooked meat, with a piece of fruit to prevent your child's stomach rumbling.
Engaging in the Community
Wise Owl believes that young children learn most effectively through personal experiences and multi-sensory teaching. Therefore, each term we will be putting on a number of events including visits from key people from the local community. The aim of this is to bring diverse and exciting activities to Kids Den to keep children challenged and really enjoying themselves. Details of these events can be found in the newsletter and on this website.
Partnership with Schools
The benefit of Wise Owl working with All Saints Infants and Junior Schools is that we are able to share information about each child's skills and interests so that we can cater an individual service to each child and keep them happy.
We also get to share the school field and playground, which means we can put on activities on a much larger scale, for instance games of football or cricket.
Partnerships with Parents
Our partnerships with parents are also very important to us and so we regularly
welcome parents into the nursery and to Wise Owl events so they know they are
